Chase National Bank Merchant Services

If you're ready to enter the world of eCommerce or have had an online business for years, an Internet Payment Processing Account with Chase Merchant Services can help you conduct business on the Web.

1. Can I use the same Payment Processing Account for my Web Store and my offline business?
To accept credit cards online as a method of payment on your Web Store, you'll need a specially configured Internet Payment Processing Account. To setup this other account, apply for an Internet Payment Processing Account.

2.Why can't I process Internet transactions through my traditional business?
Financial institutions and the Visa/MaterCard Associations have different criteria for evaluating the potental risk involved in credit card transactions where the card is not physically presented to the merchant. Theis type of business is typically referred to as "card not present" or "MO/TO" (mail order/telephone order). For this reason, a separate merchant account is needed.

3.What credit cards can I accept online?
That depends on how your Internet Payment Processing Account is configured. With a Chase Merchant Services Internet Payment Processing Account you can currently accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and debit cards that reflect a MasterCard or Visa logo.

4.How soon after a customer makes a purchase on my Web Store will I receive funding in my checking account?
Funding for Internet transactions does take longer than funding for offline transactions, due to the added risk of the Internet environment. Funds will be transferred to your checking account bank 7 days after an Internet transaction is made on your site.
