E-commerce Shopping Cart

Basic E-Store Application
Customer Area (front end)

Catalog
- Level 1 Category List; a menu of top-level categories displayed horizontally or vertically in text form.
- A list of products within each category will be displayed vertically in text form (includes SKU # and title of the product.)
- Display product detail; this area displays the detail of the product and includes the following: SKU # -- Title -- Description -- 1 Image -- Number of Items -- Option to purchase -- Link to Shopping Cart.

Shopping Cart
- Modify the number of items in each product.
- Display Basket (list of products purchased.)
- Includes tax and total price of products purchased.

Checkout
- User information form
- User information confirmation
- Credit Card information form
- Real time credit card validation through interaction with an authorized processor. A merchant account is needed with an accredited bank (we will assist the client with this process, if desired.)
- Final confirmation of credit card number is established. At this time, a thank you page is shown to the customer and an email is sent to the client containing customer information and purchase order.

Administration Area (back end)

Secure Login
- Administration area secured via htaccess.

Product Area
- Add Product; includes a form for adding product information and 1 image. Once submitted, product information is added to a customized database and image is inserted and saved into a specific folder for the client.
- Product List and View; Products will be listed according to the SKU #. When one product is chosen via hyper link, the client can view the product detail (including the product image) and choose to modify or delete the product.
- Modification of Product; includes a form where the information of the chosen product is placed. Any modification of the text in the form will in turn update the information for that product in the database when submitted. A new image may also be uploaded and will replace the image previously used for that product.
- Deletion of Product; includes a warning before product is deleted. All information for the product is wiped from the database and the image used for that product is deleted from its folder.

Design for the administration section will incur an additional fee.
